The Buffalo Grove Symphonic and Jazz Bands will be performing "BIG BAND CLASSICS". The Symphonic Band will feature some of the greatest music written for Band that has stood the test of time - William Schumann's "George Washington Bridge" to Grainger's "Lincolnshire Posy" as well as new works that are destined to become classics - Adam Gorb's "Yiddish Dances". The Jazz Band will perform greats from the Big Band era, including Howard Green as soloist on the Artie Shaw Concerto.

Tickets are available at Buffalo Grove Village Hall ($10 in advance, $8 seniors & students), 50 Raupp Blvd. 60089 weekdays, or at the door for $12 & $8 for seniors/students.
