Better late than never, I guess. Mathias could have saved himself and lots of other people a lot of grief and aggravation if he'd have made some of these statements a long time ago- like when Stone started coming off the rails when she was a Trustee.

Nonetheless, I recant my statement that Mathias is gutless. I can't imagine what happened after the session, but I'm guessing he probably got a full dose of Stone's wrath, so making this statement with her in the room took some guts.

Normally, I'm not one to gloat but...oh wait- I AM one to gloat, particularly when it comes to Stone. The best part of the whole video was hearing he stutter and stammer in the background. I wish I could have been there to see the look on her face as the rug was being pulled out from under her in front of a room full of people. Let's see how she tries to spin this in her favor.

Sente's folks had better be careful. Now that Sid has abandoned her, Stone will be looking for a new candidate to latch onto.

Now that this is cleared up, maybe Ms. Stone can focus on providing the proof for all the other claims she's made lately. The question about whether Mathias supports her and her causes has been put to rest. One down, about 100 more to go...

I think maybe another 4 hour visit to the FBI is in order. Chicago office, gird your loins!

Well ... pretty much sums up her 'form of activism' seems to me. I'm surprised he was able to ignore her 'questions in the background' where she did her usual and tried to interrupt the speaker, go off on a tangent, take over the time.

I wonder if we'll see any responses here from her. She now has 'abandoned' her previous sentiments about Mr. Mathias and I'm sure we'll get an 'earful' about why he said what he said and probably a new 'consipiracy theory' about why it occurred.

I wonder why here other 'supporter' the Daily Herald has no mention of this in today's online issue? Maybe they decided to just 'say nothing and hope she goes away'.

If Mathias loses this election, you know she is going to say it is because he abandoned her. That will be her spin.

I finally got to.witness Lisa Stone in person at last night's meeting. I wish they kept a camera on the residents so she could see everyone shaking their heads, smirking and groaning. Including Mathias and his wife.

And to think, she was about to leave before Sid made his speech. Then someone pointed out that she should stay to listen to him. I can't believe she didn't see this coming.

The Daily Herald just posted the story about Mathias 'breaking away from' everyone's favorite local activist. Haven't read it yet but will now.

Veterans will be the losers if Romney wins. The Romney-Ryan budget has cut tens of billions. Yesterday's NY Times (Sept 10) brought it all to light and the method the GOP is making to hide it in the budget details. Because this is a complicated area of the budget, it's difficult to read and even more so to explain, so the Democrats have left it alone.

I think Romney and Ryan have to be asked the question directly; "Are you cutting VA benefits?" If they say no, frankly they're lying.

What does this have to do with the price of tea in China? Great job spamming every article.

Does it matter what our names are? Most people don't want to be sued by Lisa Stone or hazed in public. However, my name is not going to be revealed because I am actually someone who actually likes Mr. Stone. He was a great rep for us in the BGRA. I enjoyed working together with him. I just think his wife needs a muzzle or classes on class.

I think the VB needs bodyguards more than she does. I think they all need to at least have police escorts to their cars. It is good there is a police presence in the Council Chambers. I think this situation is getting more dangerous all the time.

Since when is a Dias a place to act like you own the place? Its a Village forum, not your pole to strut your babbles, accuse Village officials of confusing you (even though you had a idea in mind, but again ...forgot) and then.... State Representative Mathias approaches the Dias. Is that really you interrupting him, even though several officials asked you not to speak? Seriously?

Susie- I have no doubt that she was in contact with the FBI. They probably have a nice little file just for her. I am sure she was on the phone with them first thing this morning to add Mathias' name to the long list of (alleged) criminals, miscreants, ne'er-do-wells, pederasts, drivers that don't use their turn signals, crooked politicians, bad spellers, and lefties who she believes need to be thoroughly investigated, incarcerated, beaten with sticks or pushed down some stairs.

We haven't heard the last of her. She's just sitting at home licking her wounds and doing more of her "research" so she can make more baseless claims and allegations that she won't support with verifiable proof.

I left with 2 signs and the next thing I know, without warning, Sid caved at the September 10th meeting.
Now you understand how it all went down. There is more but I'd rather not knock Sid, as somehow I feel bad for the position that he was put in, though not by me. It's not easy for me to dislike someone that I once had respect for, so for now I'll let it be, as he could be the better leader, but he has to hold his ground in the future.
