Two Crushed In Train Derailment
A Glenview couple was crushed to death after a train hauling coal derailed and collapsed a bridge in Northbrook.
Video shot by witnesses in the aftermath of the incident is attached to this story.
The bodies of Glenview’s Burton Lindner, 69, and his wife Zorine, 70, were found Thursday beneath the wreckage of the 138-car freight train debris. The couple was crushed when the viaduct they were driving under collapsed following the train derailment near Willow and Shermer Roads July 4.

Police: Man Texted Photo of Genitals To Girl
Former Chippewa Middle School teacher Jack K. Pickup has been charged with sexual exploitation of a child and grooming after texting a photo of his genitals to a former student, McHenry County Sheriff's police said.
Pickup, 34, of Barrington, had an online relationship with the girl, now 15, since 2011, police said. Pickup met the girl when she was a seventh grader at Chippewa and he was a teacher there.

School Bus Driver Charged With Battery
A school bus driver has been arrested for inappropriately touching students at Barbara Rose Elementary School.
The Daily Herald reports John Petrone, 68, of Lake in the Hills, has been charged with four counts of misdemeanor battery by the South Barrington Police Department. He was released on bond yesterday, and will appear in court again Aug. 2. Petrone was placed on leave when allegations of inappropriate behavior were reported to District 220 in April.

Man Found Dead In Veteran Acres Park
The McHenry County Coroner's Office said Michael Nolan, 21, of McHenry, was the man found deceased near the bicycle path entrance on Lorraine Drive in Crystal Lake early Thursday morning.
Preliminary investigations suggest Nolan died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound either late Wednesday, July 4, or early Thursday morning, said Deputy Coroner Curt Bradshaw. Nolan was last seen alive at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in McHenry, Bradshaw said. The investigation is ongoing.

Man Squeezed While At Urinal In Restroom
When a 62-year-old Chicago man went to use the restroom at Golf Mill Shopping Center June 27 just before 3:15 p.m., he noticed a 68-year-old man standing by the urinals with his genitalia hanging out, according to police.
While the Chicago man was using the urinal, the older man squeezed his buttocks, according to the report. The offender denied doing such a thing.
The victim did not want to sign complaints. Golf Mill security banned the offender from the mall.
