Mathias is 'Common Sense' Candidate for 59th District
Letter to the editor
There is only one truly independent and common sense candidate for Illinois’ 59th House District; that candidate is Sidney Mathias. Mathias works together with members of both parties to accomplish things for our district and for the people of Illinois. He has worked to bring public transportation service to our area, promote a fiscally conservative agenda, and bring help to Lake County in its struggle to reduce traffic gridlock.
On the other hand, Carol Sente is just another Michael Madigan rubber stamp. If Sente is elected Illinois will continue on the road to bankruptcy and higher taxes. The choice in this race is clear.
Vote for Sidney Mathias for State Representative on Tuesday November 6th.

Carol Sente has been one of our solid reps, fairly independent...I do not see her as aligned in any way with Mike Madigan....

Lawrence I'm afraid I don't think your statement is rather well sourced: http://www.elections.il.gov/CampaignDisclosure/A1List.aspx?ID=22365&FiledDocID=477682&ContributionType=AllTypes&Archived=False
Sure Carol Sente may campaign as an independent and stress moderate views such as you might claim. However, in the end its where the funding goes that shows how they will vote.

So if the funding dictates how the candidate will vote. Mathias is not an independent, but a republican shill because of taking $300,000 from the Il GOP. Faulty logic Erik.
