Courtney Adams, Buffalo Grove resident, recently was named to Dominican University’s Honors List.  Adams is a junior at the university and is majoring in History.

In order to make the honors list, students must be enrolled full-time with 12 credit hours and earn a grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

The coeducational Catholic university is located in River Forest.  It was founded in 1901, and offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. 

Dominican University was named one of the top 20 Midwest master’s level schools by U.S. News & World Report for 2012.

The university also was listed as one of three ‘Great Schools for a Great price’ in Illinois.
