Chowdown Showdown: Who Makes the Best Mexican Food?
Nominate your favorite restaurant here!
Chowdown Showdown is back, and this time with a focus on Mexican food.
Fajitas, tacos, burritos, quesadillas? We’re on a mission to determine which Buffalo Grove restaurant is best when it comes to Mexican cuisine.
Nominate the restaurant that you think serves the best Mexican food by posting a comment in the box below. Nominations will also be accepted via our Facebook and Twitter accounts.
The three most popular submissions received by 5 p.m. Tuesday will be posted as a poll Wednesday morning. The restaurant that receives the most votes in the poll will be named the Chowdown Showdown Mexican Food Champion.
Want to explain what makes a particular dish so great? Tell us in the comments section or write a review on the restaurant's listing, which you can find under the "Places" tab.
If you are really pulling for a certain restaurant, be sure to share the columns on your personal Facebook page and Twitter feed to get your favorite spot more visibility.
Patch readers, please tell us, who makes the BEST Mexican food in Buffalo Grove?

Tacos el Norte. The one in Buffalo Grove is now located across from Lowe's in Libertyville. They have the best chicken flautas, enchiladas, and tacos--great place to go for a nice meal. Grande Jake's is a close second, but my vote is still for Tacos el Norte.

But, if "one in Buffalo Grove is now located across from Lowe's in Libertyville", then it's not in BG anymore...
