When it comes to sandwiches in Buffalo Grove, there seem to be two clear preferences. Buffalo Grove Patch readers showed overwhelming support for both Dorfler's Meat Market and Original Bagel & Bialy in this week's Chowdown Showdown Sandwich Challenge.

The two establishments were neck-and-neck during much of the voting session, which ran Wednesday and Thursday. In the end, Dorfler's pulled ahead, securing 418 of the 748 votes cast.
