Spencer Lome, Buffalo Grove resident and 2008 graduate from Stevenson HS,
has graduated this past weekend from Purdue University with a BS in Electrical
Engineering and a minor in Military Science.  Following his graduation, Spencer
was commissioned as 2nd LT in the US Army, Signal Corp.  He will report to Fort
Gordon, GA for his final officer training from March to July, and will return to
his civilian job and join the IL National Guard upon his return.  In the
meantime, Spencer will be working as an administrative tech supervisor at
Kester, Inc in Itasca.  While at Stevenson, Spencer was the captain of the men's
sabre fencing team and has offered his service as a volunteer fencing coach for
the rest of this season.  A young man with a mission, Spencer has worked very
hard for his achievements and we all wish him well.
