Each year, Wheeling Township's Adopt-A-Family program brings hope to the needy as the community comes together to provide holiday gifts and food to financially disadvantaged families and senior citizens. Because of the generous support of sponsors, more than 1,600 recipients experienced a joyful and memorable holiday last year.

Wheeling Township again asks residents to sponsor a family in need. Recipient needs assessments are conducted and the program is fully confidential for both the donor and the recipient.

Guidelines and donor forms are available through the Wheeling Township General Assistance Department and the deadline for form completion is Nov. 15. Contact Wheeling Township to request a donor form.
