The Vernon Area Public Library seeks volunteers at least 18 years old who are wiling to "adopt" a shelf to make sure books are in the proper place. Volunteers undergo training, and then make their own schedules. Volunteers must be able to file alphabetically and numerically, and do some reaching, bending and lifting.
