A History of Israel Through Song Featuring Cantor Rachel Rosenberg

Experience the history of the modern State of Israel by examining the text and, singing the melodies of some of Israel's most beloved songs.  A musical, educational, and participatory program.  Hazzan Rachel Rosenberg, is currently the cantor/educator at Congregation Rodfei Zedek in Chicago and is a founding member of the Chicago based band Shakshuka, known for there unique fusion of Israeli and Sephardic music spiced with jazz.  Wednesday Night, January 30th at 7:45 pm Congregation Beth Judea Rte 83 and Hill Top Road, Long Grove.  The cost to attend $10 in advance $15 at the door.  Register on line at BethJudea.org or by calling the synagogue office at 847-634-0777
